Zaporizhzhya National Medical University in 1903 in the city of Odessa, southern Ukraine was set up, and then transferred to the city of Zaporizhzhya in 1959, and became an institute for pharmacology, and then in 1969 switched to the Institute of Medical Sciences, so it’s got the status of national university in 1994.
And studying at university today about 5441 students, including more than 850 foreign students from various countries around the world.
It consists university teaching staff of 540 professors, and 326 from the campaign doctoral degrees, and 83 of the campaign professorship professor.
And returning the university experience in training foreign students to the public in 1973, it has left more than 30 thousand foreign students from 100 countries around the world.
The University has an institute for human diseases, and environmental scientific research institutes and medical issues.
The University has five custom for university accommodation buildings and live in today more than 2,900 students.
At the university library includes more than 580,000 books, and a concert hall and a sports complex and includes gyms, a football field, handball, volleyball, basketball, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a fitness club.
